In collaboration with the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative, we are launching The Big Draft, our annual volunteer recruitment campaign designed to inspire more adults to step up as Bigs (mentors). This campaign elevates the urgent need for more volunteers so that every young person waiting for a mentor can be matched with someone who believes in them.

Just as the NFL drafts its next class of players, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater New Orleans is drafting its next class of Bigs.

 

This year, our ambitious goal is to secure 40 Bigs in 60 Days. By generating awareness and mobilizing our community, we aim to bring in the volunteers needed to support the youth on our waiting list—especially boys who have been waiting the longest.

 

Together, we can build a stronger, more connected New Orleans by surrounding our youth with mentors who will champion their dreams and walk beside them as they grow.
